Lingnan University, also known as Lingnan University, is located in Tiger Land, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. It is the only public liberal arts university in Hong Kong, with the goal of inheriting the tradition of liberal arts education and developing high-quality teaching. In 2014, it became the first and only university in Hong Kong to provide four-year full-time accommodation for 100% undergraduate students, and has the longest history among local higher education institutions. The history of Lingnan University can be traced back to 1888, when its predecessor, "Gezhi Academy," was founded in Guangzhou. It later reopened in Hong Kong in 1967 under the name Lingnan Academy. In 2015, Lingnan University was named one of the top ten liberal arts colleges in Asia by Forbes.

Lingnan University offers undergraduate courses, coursework based graduate courses, and comprehensive courses covering humanities, business, and social sciences, including general and interdisciplinary subjects, to consolidate students' knowledge foundation in different disciplines. We cultivate students' ability to think critically and creatively, and enable them to think independently, care for society, and take on social responsibility, so that they can pursue their goals in a rapidly changing environment after graduation.

Lingnan University students can gain valuable experience by participating in international internship programs, working in practical environments, and interacting with different cultures. These programs include the ASEAN Internship Program, Global Internship Program, Disney World Summer Exchange and Work Program, and Greater China Summer Internship Program. In addition, about 85% of Lingnan University students have the opportunity to go to over 210 overseas partner universities in 43 countries as exchange students or participate in summer courses for one semester. Lingnan University also adheres to the school motto of "cultivating talents and serving society", providing students with opportunities for service learning and other social services, keeping them connected with the community, and helping those in need.

To broaden the international experience of students and scholars, Lingnan University is committed to promoting campus internationalization and has been actively establishing strategic partnerships with universities around the world. Half of the more than 180 faculty members at Lingnan University have international academic training and research experience; And there are over 300 overseas exchange students studying at Lingnan University every year.
